Gift & Craft Tips Worth Knowing

Most dog toys get ignored. Your Pom will probably fixate on one or two toys and ignore the rest. Don't buy fifteen different things hoping they'll like something. Start small and see what they actually play with.
Personalized stuff is harder to return. Custom collars, bowls with names, monogrammed beds—they're cute but you're stuck with them if they don't work out. Make sure you know sizing and preferences before you order.
DIY crafts take longer than you think. Making your own Pomeranian crafts sounds fun until you're two hours into a project you thought would take twenty minutes. Be realistic about your time and skill level before you start.
Memory books are emotional. Making a keepsake book will probably make you cry at some point. That's normal. Do it anyway. You'll be glad you have it later, even if putting it together is hard.
Not everyone wants dog-themed gifts. Just because someone has a Pomeranian doesn't mean they want Pomeranian socks, mugs, and wall art. Some people like keeping their dog stuff separate from everything else. Feel it out first.
Quality matters for keepsakes. If you're making something to last—photo books, memory boxes, custom art—spend a bit more on decent materials. Cheap stuff falls apart and you'll regret not doing it right the first time.
